Functional Consultant

As a Functional Consultant, you will analyze, design, and support business process solutions for a variety of digital and operational transformation projects in manufacturing. You will act as the link between clients and the technical team, ensuring that all requirements are clearly captured, translated into functional specifications, and successfully implemented. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, structured thinking, and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from clients.

  • Design efficient workflows for operations such as warehousing, procurement, production, maintenance, and quality control.

  • Prepare functional specifications and communicate requirements to the technical team.

  • Configure and validate system functionalities to match client needs.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing, provide user training, and support go-live activities.

  • Monitor project deliverables according to timelines, milestones, and agreed tolerances.

  • Contribute to internal documentation, user manuals, and process guidelines.

  • Provide first-level functional support for configuration-related questions.

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or related field
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working with technical concepts
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge in Lean, Smart Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen
  • Experience in digital transformation or process optimization projects
  • Familiarity with barcode/QR workflows and traceability systems
  • Basic understanding of SQL and data import structures
  • Experience in UAT, testing procedures, or documentation writing
  • Exposure to factory's operations and procedures
